The rest that works in action

I really appreciate this. In many ways, it's the rest that works in action. Nate even says he gave his judgements a rest, and then they both sought to approach one another as they would want to be approached - with respect and a listening ear. I appreciate the whole of what is here. 

The key is that they didn't cast suspicion on each other's motives. They approached each other respectfully, especially because they knew there was potential for conflict. This is the approach our country desperately needs.
